Program №2: Jazz with Louis, Duke and Ella

Listening to music from various eras, it appears to me that music in the 1950s and 1960s was of the best quality and professionalism, both in terms of performance and recording quality; it was also very lively, emotional, energetically filling, true and sincere. Perhaps this is just my subjective impression, or maybe there are reasons for this, in particular, the advent of stereo recording and the crazy interest of musicians and sound engineers in the new technology and its possibilities

Just at that time, the trio of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald were already mega-successful mature luminaries who enjoyed the true art of jazz themselves and, at the same time, shared this enjoyment with others. In the 1950-70s the best albums of these artists were released in such a high quality recording that it poses a serious challenge to modern technologies and sound engineers

In our collection of CDs, we have some specially valuable treasures from PolyDan Sound Laboratory. These CDs are based on the musical material from the archives of the recording studios. When played on the Sound Reality audio system, they create the true effect of being so close together with these fantastic people and brilliant musicians! We even have the opportunity to join one of the rehearsals...
